I really don’t know how to put this book in words. It is very different. Almost too unrealistic. Without giving away too much to spoil, we have Amber who has Amnesia. She is a smart cookie to trust her instincts, but none the less still has Amnesia. Her hot man is Jax, the good looking man is good with his hands-if you catch me. Amber is trying to figure out her world, and her story- after her accident- with Jax and a few other characters she is introduced too.
This story started out very intense, a period of excitement and preparation that left me wanting to keep turning the pages until I read some answers. Then I felt the conclusion ended with too much of a urgent haste. I also felt there were so many unanswered question about some of the secondary characters. We were given an end point in their story but not why? Lastly, Jax. Yes we saw 2 sides of him, but yet I felt the author was trying to guide us to see a side that Amber brought out in him, but then it just abruptly changes, then ends. Is there a book 2? It was not mentioned, but the end left much to be discovered. I just need more answers in my stories. This book almost felt like a prequel. The plot has some intrigue, the writing is educated and alluring, but the story does not continue. The prequel is the story.
